Recruit4staff are representing a well-established manufacturing business in their search for a Despatch Operative to work in Oswestry 

Job Details:

  • Pay: £13.50 per hour 
  • Hours of Work: Monday - Friday 8 am–4 pm 
  • Duration: Temp to Perm
Job Role: The Despatch Operative will be responsible for goods in and goods out operations within a busy warehouse environment. As a Despatch Operative, you will be offloading vehicles and trailers, picking and packing orders, and assembling wheelbarrows and trailers ready for dispatch. This Despatch Operative position plays a key role in ensuring products are prepared accurately and efficiently to meet customer demands.

Essential Skills, Experience, or Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a warehouse or FLT role
  • Valid FLT Counterbalance licence

Advantageous Skills, Experience, or Qualifications

  • Background in a warehouse environment
  • Good knowledge of computer systems

  • Experience in a warehouse or logistics environment
  • Familiarity with automated palletising systems and AGV technology (training provided)
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
